My passion for Personal Training grew from injuries I sustained through sports and exercise as a youth. I needed to find a way to not be in pain and move better, feel, and live better. While in college I came across the Functional Movement System (FMS) which became a game-changer for me. It allowed me to see movement differently and helped me correct dysfunctional patterns and movement ability. I’ve successfully utilized the FMS over the past 10 years with all my clients. Being able to take a client who is dealing with either pain or dysfunction or is simply struggling to hit a new personal best in their workout and teach them how to recognize what better movement looks and feels like is what drives me to help others. The core of my training philosophy centers around good movement quality (FMS), injury prevention, post-surgical/therapy training, mobility/flexibility training, weight loss, cardiovascular training, and functional training for all ages, genders, and abilities. I am also experienced in training athletes within rotational sports I.e. golf, disc golf, tennis, and pickleball.
