Playing volleyball in high school and taking weightlifting classes really sparked my interest in exercise and personal training. It wasn’t until I got to college and declared my Kinesiology major that I really started to understand the importance of exercising for your overall health. Once I started taking all of my classes and having a better understanding of everything that goes into exercise and personal training, I decided that it was definitely something that I wanted to try once I graduated. This field was attractive to me because I am able to help people become healthy and fit, while also holding them accountable. My goal when training my clients in the gym is to help them feel comfortable in their own bodies and in the gym, so they are able to also gain the confidence to come in and workout on their own. Changing my lifestyle to eating better and working out has changed my life for the better. And I want my clients to be able to experience that same feeling.
